Cumberland woman facing vehicle damage charges

On June 18, 2015 the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Gretchen Ingram.  The charges are the result of an incident that occurred on June 5, 2015 in the 600 block of Columbia Avenue at approximately 2:13 AM when Cumberland Police responded for a destruction of property complaint.  Investigation revealed Ingram had been involved in a disturbance in the street.  During the disturbance Ingram pushed a free standing sign onto a parked vehicle causing damage to a door.  Ingram was served with the summons and released pending her next appearance in District Court.

Arrested:

Gretchen Lee Ingram                              Age:  42                             Cumberland, MD

Charges:

Destruction of Property -$1000, Disorderly Conduct, Willful Motor Vehicle Damaging without Owner’s Consent.

Arrest Warrant Served

On June 18, 2015 the Cumberland Police served an arrest warrant on Shannon Grapes for 4th Degree Burglary.  On May 27, 2015 the Cumberland Police responded to a residence in the 700 block of Elm Street for a request for officer complaint.  Further investigation revealed Grapes had been inside the victim’s residence without permission. As a result of the investigation charges were filed for burglary of the residence.  Grapes was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was released on her personal recognizance pending a trial date in District Court.
