WARRANT SERVICE

On Monday June 15, 2015, Cumberland City Police served three Arrest Warrants and two Criminal Summonses on Nakota Durham, age 23 of Cumberland.  The first warrant was a result of June 14, 2015 incident where Durham was found to be trespassing at a business on Oldtown Road after being previously notified that she was not allowed on the property.  The second was issued as a result of a June 12, 2015 incident for the same offense at the same location.  The third warrant was issued as a result of Durham failing to follow conditions of probation for a previous arrest for Assault 2nd Degree.  The issued criminal summonses were for Trespassing and the other for Assault 2nd Degree.  Durham was taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioners Office for a bond hearing.  She was held on a $16,000.00 bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

 

 

DISTURBING THE PEACE

On Monday June 15, 2015, at 8:00 pm, Cumberland City Police Officers responded the 100 block of Oldtown Road for a disturbance.  Upon arrival officers revealed Adam Shipway, age 36 of Cumberland, walked was arguing with two individuals in front of their homes.  Shipway then created a disturbance as he was observed yelling at patrons at a business on Willison Place.  Shipway was placed under arrest.  Officers located a marihuana smoking device upon conducting a search incident to arrest.  He was transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGES:  Disturbing the Peace, Fail to Obey Lawful Order, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
