Police make trespassing arrest

TRESPASSING

On Wednesday August 19, 2015, at 2:58 pm, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to the railroad tracks on Front Street for a Trespassing complaint.  Crystal Rosenberger, age 39 of Cumberland, was observed by an off duty Cumberland City Police Officer walking the railroad tracks.  No Trespassing signs were posted where Rosenberger was located.  She was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where she was criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGE:  Trespassing.

 

WARRANT SERVICE

On Wednesday August 19, 2015, Cumberland City Police served two arrest warrants on Tyrell Morris, age 20 of Cumberland.  One warrant served was issued as a result of Morris failing to appear for trial on August 17, 2015 for a previous arrest for Theft less than $100.00 dollars.   Morris’s bond was set at $2,600.00 dollars for this matter.  The other served warrant was issued by a private citizen who alleged that on August 14, 2015, Morris assaulted him at a business on Virginia Avenue.  The victim did not require medical attention.  Morris’s bond was set at $7,500.00 dollars for this incident.  Morris was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center.
