Officers responded to a residence on W. Oldtown Rd. for a report of an assault. Upon their arrival they contacted the victim who advised that she was with boyfriend Hawke Coffman around 2 AM that morning drinking. She advised that Coffman became argumentative when she refused to do something that he wanted her to do. She stated that he then began to break some of her belongings. When she stood up Coffman grabbed her by the neck and pushed her into a chair breaking it. He then briefly choked her and then punched her in the face. Prior to him leaving he took $20 dollars from her a spit on her. Officers observed an injury to the victim consistent to what she advised occurred. Approx. cost to repair or replace the items broken is approx. $200. Coffman was located sleeping in the bedroom and was placed under arrest. He was transported to PH where he was charged and processed.

Charges: DOP, Assault 2nd Degree, Theft less than $100
Coffman was taken for a Bond Hearing and held in the ACDC on a $20000 Bond.
District Court Arrest Warrant Served
Robert William Cook Jr. Age: 31 York St., Cumberland, MD.
Charge: Bench Warrant VOP
Cook was released after posting a $150 Bond.
