Criminal Summons Served

On February 27, 2014, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Robert Lewis Adams Jr., age 47 of Cumberland, Maryland.  The summons served was the result of an investigation conducted by the Cumberland Police on January 24, 2014.  During this incident officers responded to 9 Virginia Avenue for a breaking and entering complaint.  Information and evidence at the scene led to charges being filed on Adams at District Court.  As a result of this investigation, Adams was charged with one count of 1st degree breaking and entering, one count of 4th degree breaking and entering and destruction of property.  Adams was served with the summons and released pending his trial date in District Court.
