SUMMONS SERVICE
On Wednesday March 5, 2014, two Cumberland residents were served with Criminal Summonses. The charges in this matter were filed by a private citizen who alleged that between February 28th and March 2, 2014, Sherry Johnson and Joseph Ansel repeatedly harassed and threatened to assault the victim at his residence on Park Street. The victim also alleged that Johnson and Ansel trespassed on his property. On March 2, 2014, Johnson and Ansel were repeatedly knocking on the door of the victim’s residence and began yelling at him. When the victim confronted them, Hansel allegedly spat on him. Johnson and Ansel were served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
Joseph Ansel, age 41. Cumberland, Maryland.
CHARGES: Disturbing the Peace (3 counts), Trespass, Assault 2nd Degree.
Sherry Johnson, age 42. Cumberland, Maryland.
