Police Make Arrest After Disturbance

On August 7th, 2018, The Cumberland City Police Dept responded to the 100 block of Blaul Ave for the report of a large disturbance. Upon officer’s arrival on scene, they learned that an altercation had taken place inside the residence between family members. The disturbance had gained the attention of numerous neighbors in the area. It was also learned that the subjects still inside the home did not live there and had refused to leave the residence at the request of the legal tenants. Officers contacted the subjects still inside the home and identified them as Jason Dylan Roager, 24, and Rosemary Neva Irene Hazard, 45, both of Cumberland MD. Officers attempted to get the subjects to leave the residence multiple times and to stop creating a disturbance, to which they refused to comply. As a result of the incident, both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department. Both subjects were issued criminal citations for Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace before being released.
