Police Make Disturbance Call Arrest

On Thursday, April 2nd, 2020 the Cumberland Police Department responded to the area of Seymour Street for the report of a disturbance.  When officers arrived, contact was made with a female who stated that she had an argument with her son, Malakhi Deondre Henderson who punched out the glass to the front door and upset trash cans in the street and left.  Officer did observe trash scattered in the street and the glass to the front door was broken out.  Moments later, officers located Henderson who was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for a separate incident.  He was arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property and disorderly conduct.  In addition, the warrant was served charging him with burglary, theft, and assault and a criminal summons was also served on him charging him with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace for another incident.  He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on an unsecured bond of $5,000.
