Police make theft, trespassing arrests

On Friday, the Cumberland City Police Department responded to a residence on Maryland Avenue for trespassing complaint.  When officers arrived, they spoke with the complainant who informed them that Jasmine Elaine Shelton was inside his residence and refused to leave after several request.  The complainant advised that he eventually managed to get Shelton to step outside but when he went to close the door, Shelton attempted for force her way back in causing damage to the door.  Shelton was arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property and trespassing.  She was released after receiving two criminal citations.

Arrested:  Jasmine Elaine Shelton, age: 25, Cumberland, MD.

Charges:  Malicious destruction of property less than $1,000, and trespassing private property.

 

Theft Arrest

 

On  Friday,  August 19th,  2016 the Cumberland City Police Department responded to Wayne’s Sunoco on S. Centre Street for a theft complaint.  When officer arrived, contact was made with an employee who informed the officers that a female had walked out of the business with a quantity of beer that she did not pay for.  Officers located the female in question and identified her as Kerri Anne Bohrer.  Bohrer was still in possession of the unpaid beer when officers found her.  She was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland City Police station and charged with theft less than $100.  Borher was released pending trail.

 

Arrested:  Karrie Anne Bohrer, age: 42, Cumberland, MD.

 

Charge:  Theft less than $100.
