Police make two drug arrests

On Friday an officer from the Cumberland Police Department had received information that a subject at an Arch Street address was dealing drugs.  The officer contacted James McMillan at the address and proceeded to have a consensual conversation.  McMillan consented to a search which revealed that he was in possession of suspected cocaine. McMillan was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters.  McMillan was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial at the District Court of Allegany County.

 

ARRESTED:  James William Ray McMillan Sr.   AGE: 54    Cumberland, MD

CHARGES:  CDS: Possession of drug paraphernalia; possibly other charges pending

 

 

 

 

Also Friday,  officers from the Cumberland Police Department were conducting a drug investigation at an Arch Street residence.  Officers contacted Shane Combs at the address.  Further investigation revealed that Combs was in possession of suspected heroin, suspected cocaine, and suspected Xanax (prescription medication).  Combs was placed under arrest, processed, and taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
