Law enforcement officials from the area are currently attempting to locate and apprehend a subject who is wanted on three active arrest warrants.
Michael James Wallace, 39 years of age , last known address on Henderson Avenue in Cumberland, is wanted for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender, as well as Failing to Appear for court on two separate cases for Theft.
Law enforcement officials believe Wallace is still in the area, and may possibly be staying in Mineral County.
Anyone with information regarding Wallace's whereabouts is asked to contact their nearest law enforcement agency. If callers wish to remain anonymous, they can call the Allegany/Mineral County Crime Solvers at 301-722-4300, where callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $1500.00 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
