At 1:29am Saturdayofficers with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to the 100blk of W. First St for an reported domestic assault. Upon arrival Officers contacted the subjects involved who advised that an argument took place which turned physical. Officers observed minor injuries to two victims which did not require medical attention. As a result officers placed 34 year old Jason Edwards of Cumberland under arrest. Edwards was transported to Police Headquarters where he was charged with two counts of second degree assault and one count of disturbing the peace. Edwards was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
