Police serve bench warrants

On Friday, December 27, 2019, the Cumberland Police served a Bench Warrant from Worchester County on Dmitri Lewis, age 26, of Springfield, West Virginia. The Warrant stemmed from Lewis failing to appear in District Court in Worchester County on December 2, 2019.  Following Lewis’s Initial Appearance in District Court, he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on $500 bond.

 

 

On Friday, December 27, 2019, the Cumberland Police served a Bench Warrant on Melvin Mumma, age 72, of Cumberland, Maryland. The Warrant stemmed from Mumma failing to appear in Allegany County District Court on December 26, 2019.  Following Mumma’s Initial Appearance in District Court, he was released on his own recognizance.

    Again u send him home? So why did they arrest him again if hes immediately let go..let’s give allegany county judges a hand for nothing!
