Police Serve Criminal Summonses

On Wednesday, February 27th, 2019, The Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Dustin Michael Edwards, 28, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an incident that occurred on February 19th, 2019 at a business located in LaVale MD. In this incident, it is alleged that Edwards entered the business after being previously served an order restricting him of being in the business. Edwards was charged with Trespassing on Private Property. He was served and released pending trial at District Court.

Arrested: Dustin Michael Edwards     Age:  28

Charges: Theft Less Than $100

 

On Wednesday, February 27th, 2019, The Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Alexis Victoria Yoak, 24, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an incident that occurred on February 23rd, 2019. In this incident, it is alleged that Yoak failed to obey and assaulted a Cumberland City Police Officer. Officers had made contact with Yoak in reference to a check on well being. During their contact, she became disruptive and attempted to flee from officers on foot. During the arrest, Yoak continued to be disruptive and kicked an officer multiple times while they were affecting arrest.  Yoak was charged with Second degree Assault and Failing to Obey a Lawful Order. She was served and released pending trial at District Court.

Charges: Assault 2nd Degree, Fail to Obey
