Police Serve Several Warrants

On Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 the Cumberland Police Department served two arrest warrants on Richard Eugene Dentinger Jr. for theft and malicious destruction of property.  The warrants were issued by District Court in reference to separate incidents occurring back on June 11th and March 20th, 2020.  On June 11th, officers responded to Columbia Street for the complaint that Dentinger had punctured the complainant’s tire.  On March 20th, officers responded to a Race Street residence for the report of property missing from the residence that according to the complainant, Dentinger and an accomplice had taken.  He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on his own personal recognizance pending trial.

On Monday, August 10th, 2020 the Cumberland Police Department served a Circuit Court warrant on Terri Lynn Shroyer for violation of probation.  The warrant was issued because she failed to follow the conditions of her probation ordered by the court.  Shroyer was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
