On Monday, October 26th, 2020 the Cumberland Police Department served a warrant on Richard Leslie Kennell charging him with 3rd degree burglary and assault. The warrant was issued by District Court in reference to an incident that occurred on October 20th, 2020 at a Chestnut Street residence where Kennell is alleged to have entered without permission and assaulted a male victim. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on an unsecured $5,000 bond pending trial.
