Multiple pieces of legislation aimed at legalization are on the docket, including one push to leave it up to the voters—by putting it on the ballot in 2020. Delegate Nick Mosby, who co-sponsored the bill and sits on the legislative group charged with studying legalization in Maryland, said that the energy is there and he would not be surprised if it’s passed this term. I’m sure that all of the proceeds from State controlled sales will go toward public education. Just as I am sure that it will never actually happen.

I am just NOT SURE if making Marijuana legal for recreational use is a great idea for Maryland or anywhere. I believe that there are too many problems that will be created by doing that. How are we to try and live our normal lives with drugged people we interface with on a daily basis. From the police, to doctors, dentists, lawyers, judges, teachers, babysitters, drivers, pilots, workmen, and parents

Do you really want a drugged individual dealing with yourself and loved ones. I don’t but how do we prevent that from happening. We do it by NOT APPROVING IT FROM THE BEGINNING. LET’S NOT CREATE SITUATIONS FOR OURSELVES UNTIL WE HAVE MEANS TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE.
