January 13th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

A new poll released shows that the majority of Marylanders are not impressed with the performance of President Donald Trump- and about half want to see him removed from office. The approval rating for Trump remains low among Maryland voters, with only 37% approving of the job he is doing as president, while 61% disapprove. The Gonzales Research poll was made public last week, just prior to the start of the 2020 session of the General Assembly.  Pollster Patrick Gonzales said with Maryland Democrats outnumbering Republicans by a 2 to 1 margin- the results are not surprising…

      Brian,

You do understand that Maryland is one of the wealthiest states in the country and that a relatively low percentage of the people who live in our state are on assistance.

In Allegany County, that’s not the case. More importantly, in most of Maryland’s right leaning counties the economy is in ruins and the wages earned by the people who live here make are below the state average.

Could it be that we create our own problems?

Growing up in Allegany County, I saw most Marylanders as hard working individuals. Most of them (I am guesstimating that 90 % would work 2 jobs before they would take some type of assistance. Today the numbers have reversed and 90% want a free handout and don’t want to work. What’s happened to the State of Maryland?
