Poll Show Less Than Glowing Numbers For MD Democratic Senators

While President Donald Trump fared poorly in the first statewide poll taken in Maryland since he took office- members of congress also receive less than stellar grades. WBAL reports Trump has support from 29 percent of Marylanders, compared with 64 percent who disapprove of the job he has done so far, according to the Goucher Poll to be released last week.  Although Maryland is a deeply blue state, with a 2-1 voter edge in democrats, the state’s two democrat senators received less than glowing numbers. Forty-five percent of all voters and 53 percent of Democrats said they approve of the job Maryland Senator Ben Cardin is doing.   Senator Chris Van Hollen, who won his election last fall for former Sen.
