Maryland's statewide coronavirus positivity rate is continuing a slow but steady decline, according to the health department. The 7-day positivity rate is now at 8.53%, down a fraction from the day before.
Maryland has recorded 314,867 cases of the virus, which is 2,516 more than the day before.
According to the state, there are 1,929 Marylanders currently hospitalized. Of those hospitalized, 454 are in intensive care.
37 deaths were reported over a 24-hour period.
