Possible Hitch in Transfer of Old Allegany Site to County

The Allegany County Board of Education this week officially began the process to transfer the former Allegany High School property to the county- but there may be a hitch. In the action approved by the board- an exception is included calling for the property at 616 Sedgewick Street to be subdivided- with the school board planning to retain ownership of the two athletic fields adjacent to the school.     The building is an albatross. The connecting property is prime real estate.
