After appearing to coming so close to seeing negotiations break off- sources tell WCBC News that real progress has been made recently in contract talks between Allegany County and DelFest representatives. The hope now, according to a source familiar with the talks, is to have a new deal agreed upon prior to a scheduled November 3rd public meeting. Scheduled for Memorial Day weekend annually, the 2018 bluegrass and Americana music festival would be in its 11th year at the Allegany County Fairgrounds. County Commissioner Bill Valentine remains optimistic- and has been an advocate of face-to-face meetings for some time now….
