Prosecutors Calling For Marijuana Bill Veto

Prosecutors across Maryland are sending a letter to Governor Martin O'Malley regarding the just adopted marijuana decriminalization bill. The message, veto the bill that reduces the penalties for possessing less than 10-grams of marijuana from 90-days in jail to civil fines starting at $100. Baltimore County State's Attorney Scott Shellenberger tells WBAL the measure will make it harder for police to search stopped vehicles if they smell marijuana. There is language in the bill that allows those searches, but Shellenberger says that's not enough…
