A utility law judge for the Public Service Commission (PSC) has proposed denying the application for the controversial Dans Mountain Windforce project, That proposal would have seen development of a 17 turbine wind farm atop Dan’s Mountain in Allegany County. The order would effectively halt the project, which has generated local controversy. Darlene Park, President of the Citizens Group “Allegany Neighbors and Citizens for Home Owners Rights”, told WCBC News it was a great victory for the citizens opposed to the project.
