The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad track crew recently discovered an area of erosion near the Number 9 switch which will prohibit the train from making a complete run to Frostburg until it can be stabilized.
Via its Facebook page, the railroad says the policy has always been safety first, and that a slightly modified route will be used in the meantime.
