Allegany County’s Competitiveness Committee work group has submitted a list of more than 30 recommendations for helping improve the regions business climate- however the final report was met with a luke warm response from two of the three county commissioners. The idea for establishing such a committee came from Commissioner Jake Shade last year and was made up of 9 residents from all walks of life- with each commissioner selecting three committee members. . This group spent the year studying issues and released their recommendations last week.
