On 6/14/18 at approx. 11:10 AM, officers from the Cumberland Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of Virginia Avenue for a report of gun shots with possible injuries. Once on scene officers secured the area and made contact with witnesses. Through further investigation it was found that the caller was suffering from a mental status change and there had been no actual shooting. The caller was transported to WMHS for an Emergency Petition.
