One injured in mobile home fire

A spokesman for the Cumberland Fire Department confirmed that an  unidentified bystander was injured Sunday when fire of an unknown origin occurred in an unoccupied mobile home at 10207 Saint Paul Drive. The Cumberland Times News reports t e injured person, whose identity was not immediately available, was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation but declined transport to the hospital. The location is just off of Hillcrest Drive. A 911 call from neighbors who reported the fire and possible entrapment of an occupant inside the mobile home was made to the Allegany County emergency center at 1:11 p.m. The incident prompted alert of numerous mutual aid companies from Baltimore Pike, LaVale, Bowman’s Addition, Ellerslie, District 16, Flintstone, Bedford Road and Ridgeley, W.Va.
