There has been much debate and speculation about the best use for the site that formerly housed the Memorial Hospital facilities, but indications this week points to a preference for residential housing. During a Tuesday meeting, Cumberland City Administrator Jeff Rhodes suggested to the mayor and city council that single-family residential housing may be the best direction in which to move with regards to the city owned property.
