Rhodes Says Firefighters/City Deal Tentative

Despite speculation and some media reports the the contrary, Cumberland City Administrator Jeff Rhodes said there is no finalized deal yet between the city and the firefighters union. The two sides have been negotiating terms for a new contract for more than a year- with insurance and staffing issues chief among the sticking points. Rhodes told WCBC News that while its getting closer to being resolved- a deal still hasn’t been struck…
