Rhodes to be named administrator

Cumberland Mayor Brian Grim confirmed to WCBC News Tuesday morning that Jeff Rhodes will be appointed as the permanent city administrator. Rhodes has been serving in an interim capacity since Jeff Repp stepped down in June from the post he had held 17 years. Grim said that while there were plans to advertise the job originally, after discussions with the search committee it was determined that Rhodes was the most experienced and best qualified to take the job. Formal action expected at tonights regular city buisiness meeting.
