Mineral County Commission president Dr. Richard Lechliter administered the oath of office to Ridgeley mayor Lynn Carr for his second term as mayor during a special meeting Tuesday. He then administered the oath to Ridgeley Commissioners Mark Jones, Butch Hawse, Chris Detrick, Don McFarland and Gene Rowe. Detrick and Rowe are new to the council, which meets at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the town hall.
