The driver of a tractor trailer that toppled over was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center following this accident on westbound Interstate 68 at 4:42 a.m. Friday. Maryland State Police investigated the crash that also brought Frostburg, Shaft and Eastern Garrett volunteer firefighters to the scene along with Frostburg Area Ambulance Service. Units were on the scene until 5:30 a.m. The crash occurred just west of the Midlothian Road exit. One lane of traffic remained open despite the accident.
