May 8th, 2016 by WCBC Radio

On Saturday, May 7, 2016 at approximately 4:30 PM officers responded to the area of Riverside Park near Bridge Street for a patrol check.

Upon their arrival they located Yolanda Bauman and Crystal Rymer. They were sitting on the Gazebo and there were open alcohol containers. They were advised they were not to be consuming alcohol in public. Bauman was advised to dispose of the alcohol. As Bauman walked away she began to consume the alcohol.

Officers walked to Bauman and placed her under arrest. While attempting to place her under arrest, Crystal Rymer began to interfere with the arrest by standing in front of Bauman. Rymer was advised several times to leave the area and she refused.

At this time both Bauman and Rymer were placed under arrest and were transported to the Cumberland Police Department. Bauman was issued two citations and was released pending trial in Allegany County District Court. Rymer was processed and taken for a bond hearing and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on $3,000 bond.
