On Saturday, Maryland State Police responded to an address in McHenry for a burglary in progress. When contact was made with the occupants, suspected stolen property was observed in the vehicle. As a result, Charles Edmond, 20 of Mabie, WV; Patrick Odell, 20, Elkins, WV; and Angela Sharp, 27, Mabie, WV were placed under arrest. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a stolen .357 magnum handgun, drug paraphernalia, and prescription pills. All three were charged with Burglary, theft over $1000 but less than $10000, use of a handgun in the commission of a felony, transporting a handgun in a vehicle, conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. Starkey and Edmond were also charged with possessing a regulated firearm under 21 years of age and Sharp was charged with possession of hydrocodone and alprazolam. Edmond was held on $15,000, Sharp on $10,000 and Starkey on $15,000.
