According to Allegany County officials, Route 135 just beyond Route 36 is now open to one-lane traffic. Lanes were closed on Monday due to a severe landslide that prohibited safe travel along the byway to the Luke and Westernport area, and plagued motorists with a 40 minute detour. Officials ask motorists to use caution and exercise patience when approaching the area where crews are still working to restore the roadway.
