On Monday, January 21st, through Friday, January 25th , the Cumberland Police Department’s Safe Streets Program launched a second warrant initiative to apprehend numerous individuals’ wanted throughout the tri-state area.
This Initiative paired Cumberland Police Officers with the Deputies of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office in an effort to apprehend those wanted for past criminal offenses. This mission and partnership resulted in the arrest of 25 individuals and 43 arrest warrants served in five days with outstanding warrants from the courts.
