Tthe Garrett County 911 Center has issued an alert of possible major flooding down stream from the Savage River Dam.
According to those sources, Dam officials are recommending evacuations of houses down stream of the Dam to Bloomington.
A shelter will be set up at the Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department for those wishing to evacuate.
