Saville Comments on Baltimore Street Project’s Effect on Events

With plans moving forward to re-open the Downtown Cumberland Mall to vehicular traffic and parking- some in the community are concerned with how this could impact some of the more popular events held each year. A recent letter to the editor expressed concern that the holiday tree lighting ceremony; the New Years Eve ball drop and fireworks; and even Heritage Days might be lost if the mall opens for traffic.
