Scarpelli Confident in Possible Dye Works Plan

May 8th, 2014 by WCBC Radio

Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority officials announced in April that two proposals were received for the development of the Footer Dye Works building- and even though no details have been released, Cumberland City Councilman Nick Scarpelli remains optimistic. The Authority has declined to release the names of the interested developers or their  plans for the structure. The two proposals are  to redevelop the Footer Dye Works building. Scarpelli, a former Authority board member and an outspoken supporter of Canal Place, tells WCBC News that even though the specifics aren’t yet known, he is confident a solid plan will be accepted and implemented.
