Schroeder Industries Expanding Operation In Allegany County

Schroeder Industries, a manufacturer of specialized Advanced Liquid Filtration Solutions, is again expanding its current operation in Allegany County at the North Branch Industrial Park. Headquartered in the Pittsburgh Metro Area, Schroeder currently leases 48,000 square feet in the multi-tenant building. By January 1, 2012, Schroder will expand by an additional 12,000 square feet and occupy the entire building. Earlier this year, Schroeder’s Cumberland plant had their quality system certified to the ISO 9000-2008 standard. They continue to grow and require the additional space to both expand existing production capacity and for placement of new equipment which will bring new processes and capabilities; all necessary to continue their growth. Schroeder now employs 70 in Allegany County.  Company President Gus Schroeder said that the partnership between his company and the county has been a tremendous success…
