According to Allegany County Emergency Management, a body was located Monday morning in Green Ridge State Forest in the area where a search was conducted Sunday for a missing Wisconsin man whose vehicle was found there.

The Cumberland Times News reports the Orleans Volunteer Fire Department was called to assist Maryland Natural Resources Police. Volunteers were asked to bring ropes and a stokes basket to the scene to retrieve the body from a wooded area of Kasekamp Road off Carroll Road in the Orleans area of Green Ridge State Forest.

The Allegany County Medical Examiner was also called after the 911 center was alerted to the discovery of the body at about 9:30 a.m. Monday.

NRP searched Sunday for 75-year-old James H. Wilson of Lake Geneva, Wis., whose unattended vehicle was found on Carroll Road.

The discovery of the vehicle prompted a search of the area for Wilson, who was reported missing Thursday to the Lake Geneva Police Department. Wilson reportedly left his residence Nov. 11 and failed to arrive at his destination in Delaware Nov. 12.
