June 15th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

Late Friday night, 06/12/2020, the West Virginia State Police arrested 35 year old Jackie Christina Upole, of Levels, West Virginia, when she turned herself in at the Romney Detachment after learning that a warrant had been issued in Maryland for her arrest in connection with the murder of 25 year old Antonio Maurice Rollins, which occurred at Fort Cumberland Homes and was discovered on 05/30/2020.

Investigators with the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I) responded to Romney on Friday night upon learning that Upole had turned herself in. At that time they recovered a vehicle in the Levels area that Investigators believed Upole used to transport herself and 21 year old Dylan Joseph Moyers to Cumberland in order to commit the crime.

The West Virginia State Police have obtained a search warrant for the vehicle at the request of C3I. The vehicle is being processed for evidence by Evidence Collection Technicians with the Maryland State Police Forensic Science Division.

Moyers is believed to have been the suspect who actually shot Rollins before stealing a large amount of illegal drugs and a large amount of cash from the residence and fleeing in the vehicle driven by Upole. Moyers has previously been arrested in West Virginia on charges of 1st Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Murder, and related charges after C3I Investigators had obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Moyers was returned to Maryland on Monday, 06/15/2020. He is currently awaiting an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Upole is also facing charges of 1st Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Murder, Accessory to Murder, and related charges. She is currently being held in the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta, West Virginia, pending her extradition and return to Maryland.

The investigation is continuing by the Cumberland Police and C3I.
