Sen. Cardin Has Serious Concerns With Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh

Maryland U.S. Senator Ben Cardin has already announced that he will vote against the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Senate Republicans have laid out a fast schedule for action on Judge Brett Kavanaugh, setting up a September 20th vote in committee for the Supreme Court nominee- which would be followed by action on the full Senate floor the final week of the month. Barring hiccups, that schedule would put Judge Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court before its Oct. 1 start of the new session. Hearings kicked off this past Tuesday and have been often times contentious.
