BoE Member Wayne Foote subject of Sexual Misconduct allegations

September 28th, 2018 by WCBC Radio

Those remarks from Allegany County Board of Education member Laurie Marchini at a public meeting may have been the first indicator of potential trouble for board member Wayne Foote as sources tell WCBC News that several women have claimed there have been incidents of sexual misconduct on his part.  WCBC News has learned that a number of women at various levels of the public school system including at least one member of the central office staff and one teacher feel they have been subjected to inappropriate behavior by Foote.  One of those women told WCBC that she was groped by the board member at a school event- but she has not reported the incident or gone public because of the potential for a protracted and possibly embarrassing legal battle.  Another incident is alleged to have occurred when Foote entered a school classroom and is said to have commented on a teacher’s physical appearance in front of her students.  Timing of the leak of this information could be met with a fair amount of skepticism given that just six weeks remain before what is expected to be a hotly contested board of education election.  Foote, who was the top vote getter in the June primary, has been campaigning as part of an unofficial slate of candidates which includes Robert Farrell and David Bohn.  He did not return phone calls from WCBC on Thursday- while his attorney George McKinley declined to comment on the report at this time.

Seems like someone has been watching television.A protracted legal battle would appear to be on the horizon now,so what was the point in waiting.Provide witnesses and be heard. Appearances, and timing in these cases will count.

Nice job of the misogynists at WCBC smearing the women! Trump & Co. would be proud of you!

Typical rabid leftist tactic; have women claim misbehavior in the past that went unreported at the time but now needs addressed as the alleged perp is getting close to exposing wrongdoing by the “victim’s” comrades. Another scheme hatched by Democrat women.

I never realized how important a seat on the School Board is that some are pulling pages out of the Feinstein Playbook to further themselves. The timing is very suspicious, considering what was outted. If this was true, why didn’t we hear about it last election? And don’t give me some hashtag of the day excuse.

Bob has it right,on a local or regional level leftist-libs have no problem destroying an individual or his family. On a National front they are attempting to destroy a Nation, and the very laws it stands upon.THE ASSUMPTION OF GUILTY BEFORE DUE PROCESS BY CHOICE AND MAJORITY BELONGS TO THE MAINSTREAM DEM. PARTY,THEY HAVE BECOME THE BOLSHEVIK’S OF THE DAY.——THEY TOO WILL FAIL—-JUST AS IT DID IN RUSSIA.GOD BLESS THE USA,WE NEED YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER.

The timing can always be suspect, except for the major nationally televised outing of a serial predator emboldening women to stand up, regardless of the responses by rabid and ill educated members of the community choosing to attack them with their usual meaningless drivel that has no basis in reality, speaking out against the sick members of our society that would continue to prey upon the rest.

It’s amazing how hard these current BOE members fight to keep a Superintendent that no one in the county wants. Bittinger and Marchini will take any step available to stop voters from removing their pal who takes care of them and their families
