Sex Offender Jailed After Failing To Register

On Saturday, Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Curtis Hamilton Jr., age 29, of Cumberland.

The charges in the Warrant were two counts of Registered Sex offender Failing to Notify, Violation of Lifetime Sex Offender Supervision, and Failing to Register/False Information.

Hamilton was served with the Warrant and taken to District Court for his Initial Appearance. Subsequently, Hamilton was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

    This guy has been convicted about 97% of the time for rape and 3% others. Also beats up children. This scum should of never been eligible for probation or parole because he has to register for life as a sex offender thanks to idiot lawmakers from the 1990s who made these kind of criminals eligible for parole or probation even though they are the most unqualified person for a job based on the crime of rape. I can guess he did his 1st rape while under age 18 with a automatic lifetime registration at age 18. He is the type of person who needs to never be released ever again.
