The Maryland State Highway Administration says soil stapling work along Maryland Route 135 between Westernport and Luke is on schedule, and weather permitting, the work should be completed by the middle of the month.
The road has been limited to one lane of traffic for the last two months because of a rock and mud slide. The emergency project to secure the mountain has been estimated at $500,000.
