The first meeting of 2016 for the Allegany County Commissioners is scheduled for today, with newly appointed commissioners President Jake Shade highlighting the agenda with a “state of the county” address. The state of the county, modeled after the state of the union and state of the state has been a staple of January commissioners meetings for several decades now.
