The Cumberland Times News is reporting 21 year old Megan Shaffer has been found guilty of Second Degree Murder in the death of 24 year old Alexander Stevens.
Garrett County Circuit Court Judge Ray Strubin revoked bond after the jury verdict, and Shaffer will be sentenced at a later date. The jury took about four hours to reach its decision in the case.
It was in January 2017 when Stevens was found naked with a slashed throat in Savage River State Forest below High Rock and near Pine Swamp Road.
