On 6/14/16 @ approx. 1620 hrs. an Allegany County Sheriff's Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Rt. 36 near Barton for a speed infraction. The operator, Heather Janel Currier (40 YOA, Keyser WV), was contacted and a routine check showed that she had eleven (11) outstanding Arrest Warrants in reference to theft, forgery and failure to appear.
Following an initial appearance in District Court, CURRIER was ordered held on $77,000 and remanded to the custody of the Allegany County Detention Center pending her next appearance in D. Court.
